This is what Finn  wrote about our trip  to the Museum:

I  went  to  the  Museum  on  Friday.  I  liked  making  crayon  prints.  It  was  fun  at  the  Museum  on  the  bus  because  I  sat  beside  Tyler.  Eating  morning  tea  at  the  museum  was  fun.

4  interesting  sentences - well done, Finn!
We had an exciting  start to Term 3 with a trip to the Museum  to look at the Maori Art.  Thank you to all our wonderful helpers who joined us.  We had a very interesting time, making some of our own kowhaiwhai prints and looking around the galleries.  We loved the glitter art work by Reuben Paterson.
On Kiwi Day in C6 we made kiwis for our Kiwi posters.  We painted beautiful forest backgrounds too, for our Kiwi paintings.  After all our hard work we had a Kiwi treat - a chocolate fish!
The School Cross Country was  held at the Tree Trust.  C6's runners were all fast and fit.
Miss Williamson was very proud of you C6 , with your "Go for it"  attitude.
C6 Superkids looked colourful and cool on Wacky Hair Day!

We had a Pirates and Princesses Day in Term 2.
We did clever Pirate maths, we wrote exciting Pirate treasure chest poems, and we made Pirate hats and royal crowns, as well as a castle collage.  Pirates and Princesses Day was lots of fun!
We have been very busy in C6!  Here's a  little look at just some of the exciting events we have had already this year.

Athletics Day was lots of fun with running, jumping and throwing activities.
